Can I apply for a Bachelor Program taught in Greek?

Yes, public Greek universities accept foreign students.
In order to apply and study to a Bachelor's program taught in Greek, you have to find the preferred programs from our Bachelor's Finder page. Then, kindly read all the information about the required Documents and Procedure on how to apply.
The application involves a two step process:
- The submission of an online application through the platform for international candidates.
- The submission of a physical application file to the Directorate of Examinations and Certifications of the Greek Ministry of Education.
The file submitted to the Ministry of Education must contain:
- The printed and signed application from the electronic system (step 1, two copies must be printed and signed, one of them must be included in the file)
- The printed and signed Official Statement from the electronic system (step 1, two copies must be printed and signed, one of them must be included in the file)
- A legible photocopy (from the certified copy from the original by a lawyer) of their graduation certificate, with its official translation by the relevant authorities (Translators register of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a translator certified by the Panhellenic Union of Professional Translators of the Ionian University)
- one photocopy of the certificate of correspondence of the candidate’s graduation certificate issued by a Greek authority (Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, the local Directorates of Secondary Education or the Coordinators at the Education Offices of the Greek Embassies)
- one ID card type photograph
- one photocopy of passport or other official document with photograph, that certifies the candidate’s identity
